Alvis Auto Repair issued the following announcement on March 28.
The EVAP system (evaporative control system) captures fuel evaporating from the fuel tank and fuel lines and returns it to the engine for more complete combustion.
If the engine is idling roughly and the Check Engine light is on, the canister purge valve in the EVAP system may be faulty.
