Pinckneyville School District 50 Board met Jan. 17.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The president called the meeting to order and directed the secretary to take roll. The roll was taken and Austin Marlow, president and the following members were present: Greg Conway, Aaron Johnson, Kyle Pursell, and Scott Carney. Craig Lazenby and Gideon Hutchcraft were not in attendance. Also present were the following people: Scott Wagner, Tyson Tanner, Brittany McConachie, Wendy Bauersachs, Christina Martin,Robin Williams, Tim Lewis and Barbie Templeton.

A motion was made by Pursell and seconded by Conway to approve the amended consent agenda. Roll call vote: Yes-Conway, Carney, Marlow, Pursell, Johnson. Yes – 5 No – 0. Motion carried.

Visitors and Committees were welcomed.

Freedom of Information-1 Request - Illinois Retired Teachers Association

The Board reviewed the Executive Session minutes for the past six months. A motion was made by Pursell and seconded by Johnson to keep the Executive Session minutes confidential and to destroy tapes over eighteen months old Resolution R-2018-3. Roll call vote: Yes – Johnson, Conway, Carney, Pursell and Marlow. Yes – 5 No – 0. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Johnson and seconded by Conway to set kindergarten screening for Friday, March 22. Roll call vote: Yes – Johnson, Conway, Carney, Pursell and Marlow. Yes – 5 No – 0. Motion carried.

Erin's Law-Informational

A motion was made by Carney and seconded by Pursell to place a certified Social Worker on Pinckneyville District 50's list of certified employees. Roll call vote: Yes – Johnson, Conway, Carney, Pursell and Marlow. Yes – 5 No – 0. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Pursell and seconded by Conway to adopt Policy Manual revisions as presented at the December board meeting for Pinckneyville School District #50. Roll call vote: Yes – Johnson, Conway, Carney, Pursell and Marlow. Yes – 5 No – 0. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Pursell and seconded by Conway to adjourn the meeting. Yes – 5 No – 0. Motion carried.
