City of Red Bud Finance Committee met February 18.
Here is the minutes as provided by the committee:

Others Present: Mayor Tim Lowry, Attorney Paul Ray, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Police Chief John Brittingham, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker, City Clerk Joanne Cowell
Others Absent: Code Administrator Jeff Mueller

Committee Chairman Harbaugh called the meeting to order at 6:59 P.M.
Old Business
I. Code of Ordinances Rewriting and Restructuring Process Update
Attorney Ray stated that the total amount spent is $17,127. He is almost finished with the last section and then will move onto the codification. There is a long list of things that need to be added and things which the counsel might want to change.
II. Hess/Stines Litigation
Because of the Judge’s schedule the jury trail will not start on March 26th. Alan Ferris has a motion hearing scheduled for March 19th to ask the Judge to look at damages only. A trial date should be scheduled after that.
III. FY’20 Budget
Worksheets have gone out to the departments, as well as the budget schedule.
New Business
I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – January 21, 2019
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Harbaugh, seconded by Committee Member Hanebutt, to approve the minutes from the January 21, 2019 meeting. Carried
II. Maturing CD’s
None
III. Splash Pad Update – Kyle Donjon
Donjon has been in contact with the company and hopes to have something to present to the Parks Committee next week.
IV. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City
Chairman Harbaugh inquired and Poetker said that Liz Cowell’s training has not been set up yet.
Chairman Harbaugh also asked Poetker to keep the council updated on the DCEO loan process.
