Q2 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Monroe County?

There was one offender released on parole during that lives in Monroe County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SW Illinois News.

The data shows that the released offender was a man. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2015, when he was 52.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter in each Monroe County municipality.
