There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62217, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SW Illinois News.

The data shows that the man was released in the Illinois River zip code. The 22-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 2 years in prison for a property crime in 2017 when he was 20 years old.
