There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62888, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SW Illinois News.

The data shows that the man was released in the Vandalia zip code. The 26-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 1 year in prison for a crime involving drugs in 2017 when he was 25 years old.
