There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62233, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SW Illinois News.

The data shows that the man was released in the Centralia zip code. The 36-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 1 year in prison for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2018 when he was 35 years old.
