The Village Board of Coulterville was called to order in the Community Center for regular session at 7:00 pm.
Those present for the roll call were Board members: Dyson, Long, Knope, Wine, Campbell and Wright.
Moved by Wine, second by Knope to approve agenda as presented. All Ayes. Moved by Campbell, second by Wine to approve Minutes for April 15, 2019 regular meeting as presented. All Ayes. Moved by Long, second by Knope to approve payment of invoices for May 6, 2019. All Ayes. Moved by Wine, second by Dyson to approve April 2019 Treasurer's Report. All Ayes. Moved by Campbell, second by Knope to adjourn, sine die (si-nā-'dē- ā). All Ayes.
Village Clerk, Mary Shaw administered the Oath of Office to the newly elected Board Members: Dyson, Wine and Wright.
Regular Session Convened: 7:15pm Roll call: Dyson, Long, Knope, Wine, Campbell and Wright.
Village President, Steven Marlow appointed: Mary Shaw as Clerk/Collector, Dale Schumer as Treasurer and Water Plant Supervisor, Jason Schlesinger as Police Chief, Alan Farris as Village Attorney, Wine and Wright for Street Committee, Wine and Dyson for Water/Sewer Committee, Knope and Campbell for Park Committee, Campbell and Wright for Cemetery Committee, Long and Knope for Finance Committee, Wine and Long for Recycle/Trash Committee.
REPORTS AND COMMUNICATIONS
Financial Report: Nothing to report. Cemetery Report: Committee will meet with engineer to discuss adding an additional access road in the cemetery. Sewer Report: Nothing to report. Park Report: The farmer's market was open last Thursday. Recycling Report: Saturday, May 18th is Coulterville cleanup day and a Randolph County recycling event. They will be taking electronics, paint and hazardous materials at the World Shooting Complex. Water report: Nothing to report. Street Report: Property owners should maintain their ditches and culverts to help alleviate the water back up from these rain storms. The maintenance crew will be replacing a culvert on Eighth and Locust.
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS/GUEST
NEW BUSINESS
Moved by Wine, second by Campbell to approve acceptance of a quick claim deed for 101 S. Fifth Street. The property is deemed abandoned, dangerous and unsafe. All Ayes.
