Village of Coulterville Village Board met May 20.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Village Board of Coulterville was called to order in the Community Center for regular session at 7:00 pm.

Those present for the roll call were Board members: Long, Knope, Wine, Campbell and Wright. Dyson was absent

Moved by Wine, second by Campbell to approve agenda as presented. All Ayes. Moved by Wright, second by Knope to approve Minutes for May 6, 2019 regular meeting as presented. All Ayes. Moved by Long, second by Knope to approve payment of invoices for May 20, 2019. All Ayes.

REPORTS AND COMMUNICATIONS

Financial Report: Nothing to report. Cemetery Report: Concrete poured by monument. Sewer Report: Nothing to report. Park Report: The concrete was poured and block is being erected for new concession stand in village park. Scott Wine will help coaches with rebuilding pitcher mound at ball field. Recycling Report: Nothing to report. Water report: Nothing to report. Street Report: Nothing to report.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS/GUEST

Several organizations and individuals want to have a block party on July 11th in the village park from 4 – 8 pm with a car show, music and inflatable bouncy houses. The Holiday Association will sponsor this event. Deanna Geppert will hold a “Market in the Park”, June 2nd from 11am - 4 pm featuring produce and craft vendors. The village wide yard sale will be Saturday, June 8th. Residents can sign up at village hall to have their sale location placed on the map. Grand Cote Cruisers will have their annual car show in the village park on June 9th. Monday, June 3rd at 6pm a meeting will be held in the basement of the Methodist Church to discuss interest and planning a fall festival.

NEW BUSINESS

Moved by Long, second by Campbell to approve acceptance of Dalman's Disposal proposal to continue trash service the price increase is $144.25 per month. All Ayes. Moved by Wine, second by Wright to approve Ordinance 19-539 vacating alley way. All Ayes. A portion of a designated alley in block 14, Coulter's Third Addition had not been vacated in 1996 when the rest of the alley had been vacated. The alley was vacated as it now runs through the bank's parking lot. Moved by Wine, second by Long to approve a contract with Midwestern Propane to supply 4510 gallons of propane at $1.599 per gallon to the water plant. All Ayes.
