City of Waterloo Planning Committee met May 20.

Meeting called to order at 7 pm by Chairman Clyde Heller with following committee members in attendance: Russ Row, Steve Notheisen, Russ Thomas, Kyle Buettner, City Zoning Officer Jim Nagel, Mayor Thomas Smith, Alderman Stan Darter, Attorney Dan Hayes, and Public Works Director Tim Birk.
Agenda Item 1: Petitions by citizens on non-agenda items. No citizens present for non-agenda items.
Agenda Item 2: HSS Annexation Agreement. Jim Nagel presented the proposed Annexation Agreement for Human Support Services Bed and Breakfast property. He discussed the zoning classification of B-3, existing Water Tap, use of vynil siding. Zoning Board granted approval. Motion by Russ Thomas, second by Steve Notheisen to recommend to full council. Approved 5-0.
Agenda Item 3: Comments: Steve Notheisen spoke about the “splitting” of lots in Zone 6, Condos. After discussion, this will be further studied if modifications are needed.
Motion to adjourn made by Russ Row, second by Steve Nothiesen. Meeting adjourned at 7:12.
