This trip is for our Effingham and Stewardson, Illinois area.
Come join us as we travel to "rediscover" the beautiful and diverse City of St. Louis. Our first stop will be to visit the beautiful Fall foliage at the Missouri Botanical Garden, home to the world's first Climatron Building, and at the forefront of plant holdings and biological research. We'll enjoy a private tram ride through the Gardens and will also be able to walk around and enjoy the exhibits as well. Be sure, when you're finished, to visit the amazing gift shop. Following the Botanical Garden, we'll enjoy lunch at Favazza's Italian Restaurant located in the famed Italian Neighborhood known to locals as "The Hill". Lunch will consist of Chicken Parmesan served with a side of pasta, Italian salad, fresh Italian bread, dessert, coffee, tea or water. After lunch, we'll tour the beautiful Cathedral Basilica whose interior is adorned with 83,000 square feet of mosaic tiles and is one of the largest mosaic collections in the world. Touring the Cathedral will be followed by a visit to the Gateway Arch and museum. We'll explore the newly remodeled "state-of-the-art" Arch museum which traces the story of the Native Americans, explorers, pioneers and rebels who made America what it is today. Featuring 6-themed exhibit areas, this innovative and interactive museum celebrates America's pioneering spirit. Cost of this trip includes a "Professional Discover St. Louis" guide, entrance tickets and private tram at Missouri Botanical Garden, inclusive lunch and dessert at Favazza's, tour of the Cathedral Basilica, visit to the Arch museum and all reservations and arrangements, bus fare and gratuities.
Cost is $153.00 per person with deposit of $50.00 due JULY 15th and total due by AUGUST 15th. LEAVE STEWARDSON BANK at 6:45 am and EFFINGHAM PERFORMANCE CENTER
at 7:15 am.
