Village of Coulterville Village Board met Aug. 5.

The Village Board of Coulterville was called to order in the Community Center for regular session on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 7:00 pm.
Those present for the roll call were Board members: Dyson, Knope, Wine and Campbell. Long, and Wright were absent.
Moved by Dyson, second by Wine to approve agenda as presented. All Ayes.
Moved by Campbell, second by Wine to approve Minutes for July 15, 2019 regular meeting. All Ayes.
Moved by Knope, second by Campbell, to approve payment of invoices for August 5, 2019. All Ayes.
REPORTS AND COMMUNICATIONS
Financial report: Nothing to report.
Cemetery report: Nothing to report.
Sewer report: Nothing to report.
Park report: A tree behind the softball diamond needs trimmed and a limb is down in the village park.
Trash/Recycle report: Clerk will set fall cleanup day for Oct. 19th.
Water report: The summer temperatures have heated the lake water which can lead to foul odors and tastes.
Street report: The oiling & chipping were done on August 1st, the board was satisfied with the job.
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT/GUESTS
Diana Cole stated that the Coulterville Area Chamber of Commerce gave its closing funds to the Library, Museum and Kids Corner.
PUBLIC COMMENT
NEW BUSINESS:
The board discussed options for future police dispatching. Randolph County is currently dispatching calls for Coulterville. There have been several meetings held throughout the county to discuss future fees for dispatching services. No action was taken.
OLD BUSINESS:
Moved by Wine, second by Dyson to approve Ordinance 19-543 alternative proposals for the property at 101 S. Fifth Street. All Ayes. The required publication was not met, ordinance was redone for that purpose.
No action was taken was 410 E. Grant Street, the board is awaiting results from the asbestos inspection.
