City of Waterloo City Council met Oct. 7.

1. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Smith at 7:30 p.m.
2. The following Aldermen were present: Notheisen, Thomas, Hopkins, Trantham, Darter, Buettner, Row and Heller.
3. Pledge of Allegiance by Mayor Tom Smith.
4. Correction or Withdrawal of Agenda Items by Sponsor. None.
5. Approval of Minutes as Written or Amended.
Motion made by Alderman Darter and seconded by Alderman Row to approve the September 16, 2019, 7:30 p.m. City Council Minutes. Motion passed unanimously with Aldermen Darter, Buettner, Row, Heller, Notheisen, Thomas, Hopkins and Trantham voting yea.

Tim Birk reported the electrical outage last week was mainly with the Monroe County Electric Cooperative customers.

Motion made by Alderman Darter and seconded by Alderman Heller to approve Resolution No. 19-18 approving an AMI Water Contract Proposal with Second Sight Systems. Motion passed unanimously with Aldermen Darter, Buettner, Row, Heller, Notheisen, Thomas, Hopkins and Trantham voting yea.

A. Consideration and Action on Warrant No. 582.
Motion made by Alderman Darter and seconded by Alderman Notheisen to approve Warrant No. 582. Motion passed unanimously with Aldermen Darter, Buettner, Row, Heller, Notheisen, Thomas, Hopkins and Trantham voting yea.
B. Consideration and Action on Managerial Raises for Nathan Krebel and Jessica Rucks effective 09/26/19 and 09/24/19 respectively.
Motion made by Alderman Notheisen and seconded by Alderman Trantham to approve managerial raises for Nathan Krebel and Jessica Rucks effective 09/26/19 and 09/24/19 respectively. Motion passed unanimously with Aldermen Notheisen, Thomas, Hopkins, Trantham, Darter, Buettner, Row and Heller voting yea.
13. Discussion of Matters by Council Members Arising After Agenda Deadline. Alderman Notheisen stated, on September 30, 2019 day, the Butterfly Festival at Baebler Farm was well attended with 75 Monarch butterfly packets given away. It was a beautiful day.
Alderman Hopkins reminded everyone to attend the PumpkinFest this Saturday. Alderman Darter stated the new ADA project at the VFW looks really good. Alderman Heller stated Tuesday, 10/08/19 the annual Sister City meeting will be at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
Mayor Smith reminded everyone the Peace Walk from the UCC church to the Bandstand will be tomorrow 10/08/19.
14. Motion to Adjourn made by Alderman Notheisen and seconded by Alderman Hopkins. Motion passed with unanimous voice vote. Mayor Smith adjourned the meeting at 7:15 p.m.
