Monroe County Board of County Commissioners met Sept. 30.

The meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Illinois was called to order at 9:06 a.m. Chairman Robert Elmore, Commissioner Vicki Koerber and Commissioner Schultheis were present.
Others present included County Clerk Jonathan McLean, Sheila Wetzler, Circuit Clerk Lisa Fallon and State’s Attorney Chris Hitzemann.
The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll call was taken by County Clerk Jonathan McLean. There being a quorum present, the meeting was called to order by Chairman Elmore.
Chairman Elmore asked for public comment. There were no public comments.
Commissioner Koerber made a motion to go in to closed session for the purpose of interviewing for an IT position and discussion of real estate. Second by Commissioner Schultheis. All voting Aye. None Nay. None Absent. Motion carried. Resolution #19-98
Closed meeting started at 9:07 a.m.
Motion was made by Commissioner Koerber to come out of closed meeting. Second by Commissioner Schultheis. All voting Aye. None Nay. None Absent. Motion carried. Resolution #19-99
The meeting opened again at 10:10 a.m.
A motion was made by Commissioner Koerber to suspend the meeting until 11:10 a.m. Second by Commissioner Schultheis. All voting Aye. None Nay. None Absent. Motion carried.
Roll call was taken by County Clerk Jonathan McLean. There being a quorum present, the meeting was called to order by Chairman Elmore at 11:12 a.m.

Motion was made by Commissioner Schultheis to come out of closed meeting. Second by Commissioner Koerber. All voting Aye. None Nay. None Absent. Motion carried. Resolution #19-101
The meeting opened again at 12:09 p.m.
A motion was made by Commissioner Schultheis to suspend the meeting until 1:15 a.m. Second by Commissioner Koerber. All voting Aye. None Nay. None Absent. Motion carried.

The meeting was closed at 1:22 p.m.

There being no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Koerber made a motion to adjourn. Second by Commissioner Schultheis. All voting aye. None Nay. None Absent. Motion carried.
