City of Redbud Public Health Safety Committee met Aug. 19.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present:Susan Harbaugh, Bill Hanebutt, Mike Rheinecker, Clem Esker, David Friess

Committee Members Absent:

Council Members Present: Curt Guebert, Jeremy DeMond, Kyle Donjon

Others Present:Mayor Tim Lowry, Attorney Paul Ray, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Administrator Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker, City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Pledge of Allegiance

Committee Chairman Harbaugh called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.

Old Business

I.Code of Ordinances Rewriting and Restructuring Process Update

Attorney Ray had emailed out the next section concerning the board, committees, etc. on August 9th. There were no recommended changes, as this section dealt with standard items.

II.Hess/Stines Litigation

Alan Farris is waiting on the Randolph County Circuit Clerk for a transcript to move forward with the appeal. The court has until mid-September to provide the transcript.

New Business

I.Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – July 15, 2019

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Harbaugh, seconded by Committee Member Friess, to approve the minutes from the July 15, 2019 meeting. Carried

II.Maturing CD’s

None

III.Authorization to Transfer $104,256 of Sewer Capital Plan Funds to Sewer Cash Accounts

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Harbaugh, seconded by Committee Member Friess, to approve the transfer of $104,256 (excess) from the sewer capital plan fund to the sewer cash account. Carried

IV.Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

None

Meeting was adjourned at 7:11 P.M.
