Village of Coulterville Village Board met Dec. 2.

The Village Board of Coulterville was called to order in the Community Center for regular session on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 7:00 pm.
In the absence of Mayor Steven Marlow, a motion was made by Dyson and second by Wine to appoint Long as Mayor pro tem. All Ayes.
Those present for the roll call were Mayor pro tem Long, Board members; Dyson, Knope, Wine, Campbell and Wright.
• Moved by Knope, second by Wine to approve agenda as presented. All Ayes.
• Moved by Wright, second by Wine to approve Minutes for November 18, 2019 regular meeting. All Ayes.
• Moved by Knope, second by Campbell, to approve payment of invoices for December 2, 2019. All Ayes.
REPORTS AND COMMUNICATIONS
• Financial report: Nothing to report.
• Cemetery report: The northern most road needs high center removed and additional rock. Wine and Wright will look into it.
• Sewer report: Nothing to report.
• Park report: Christmas lights are in the village park.
• Recycle report: Nothing to report.
• Water report: Nothing to report.
• Street report: Nothing to report.
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT/GUESTS
• The Police Dept. and VFW will have shop with a cop and vet again this year. It will be on Dec. 14th at 3pm.
• The judging for Christmas lighting contest will be December 14th & 15th. The winners will be announced at the December 16th board meeting.
• The Coulterville Historical Society is having their annual Christmas walk from 11am to 5pm on December 14th. There will be a vendor fair in the gym at the school and those that ordered the Coulterville crocks can pick them up at the museum during this time.
PUBLIC COMMENT
NEW BUSINESS:
• Moved by Knope, second by Campbell to approve the 2020 board meeting schedule. All Ayes.
• Moved by Knope, second by Dyson to approve the purchase of (27) new pole decorations. Dyson, Knope, Campbell and Wright voted in favor of the motion and Wine voted no, the motion was carried. The decorations will be 5-foot LED snowflakes, the regular price is $606.00 each but the current sale price is $369.00 each for a total of $9,963.00. It was discussed that most of our current decorations were acquired from other towns that had replaced theirs. It was stated that many of the decorations are discolored and have broken brackets. The total count of decorations that are hung is 42.
