Q2 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Randolph County?

There were six offenders released on parole during the second quarter of 2019 that live in Randolph County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SW Illinois News.

The data shows that five men and one woman were released in Randolph County. The median age of the parolees was 39. The youngest parolee was a 29-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 47-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Tyrone J. Young Jr.. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2016 when he was 26 years old. He is now 30.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2019 in each Randolph County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
