Asst. Superintendent Castelli called the focus group committee meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. in the Parkview Elementary School Library.

Visitor(s) present: Tom Leahy, IASB

There were no public comments.

It was moved by Carla Wantuck, seconded by Angela McConachie to enter Executive Session for the purpose of appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity. 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(1).

On a roll call vote:

Castelli-Aye, Eytchison-Aye, Goacher-Aye, Reeves-Aye, Huels-Aye, Becherer-Aye, Steve-Aye, Wantuck-Aye, Klein-Aye, Arnold-Aye, Dill-Aye, Conrad-Aye, Bierman-Aye, Donovan-Aye, Schafer-Aye, McConachie-Aye, Bridges-Aye.

The motion carried, 17-Aye, 19-Absent, 0-Nay

A. Orientation was given to the committee by Tom Leahy of IASB.

B. Conducted interviews of three superintendent candidates.

Motion was made by Brian Reeves and seconded by Tiffany Dill to reconvene to Open Session at 9:03 p.m.

On a roll call vote:

Eytchison-Aye, Goacher-Aye, Reeves-Aye, Huels-Aye, Becherer-Aye, Steve-Aye, Wantuck-Aye, Klein-Aye, Arnold-Aye, Dill-Aye, Conrad-Aye, Bierman-Aye, Donovan- Aye, Schafer-Aye, McConachie-Aye, Bridges-Aye, Castelli-Aye.

The motion carried, 17-Aye, 19-Absent, 0-Nay

With no further business to come before the Committee, it was moved by Brian Reeves and seconded by Heidi Klein, to adjourn the meeting.

Upon a voice vote, Motion Carried 17-Aye, 19-Absent, 0-Nay Asst. Superintendent Castelli adjourned the meeting at 9:04 p.m.
