City of Red Bud Public Health and Safety Committee met March 16.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present: Bill Hanebutt, Mike Rheinecker, Curt Guebert, David Friess, Kyle Donjon

Committee Members Absent:

Council Members Present: Jeremy DeMond, Susan Harbaugh, Clem Esker

Others Present: Mayor Tim Lowry, City Attorney Paul Ray, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Admin. Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker

Others Absent: City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Committee Chairman Hanebutt called the meeting to order at 6:20 P.M.

Old Business

I. Rental Properties Registration and Occupancy – Renter Information Form

Jeff Mueller explained the proposed Residential Renter Information Form.

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Hanebutt, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to approve sending the Residential Renter Information Form to Attorney Ray to look over and instruct him to draft an ordinance for next month. Carried

New Business

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – February 17, 2020 Meeting

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Hanebutt, seconded by Committee Member Guebert, to approve the minutes from the February 17, 2020 meeting. Carried

II. Departmental Activity Report

The monthly department activity report was included in the packets.

III. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

Harbaugh asked if there had been any progress on the HTC notifications discussion. Chief Brittingham is working on it.

Donjon questioned if anyone is overseeing the mandated quarantine closures. Chief Brittingham is responsible for enforcement.

Meeting was adjourned at 6:29 P.M.
