The meeting was called to order by President John Caupert. The following members were present: Kim Ahne, Jo Ellen (Jodi) Burton, John Caupert, Lori Dillenberger, Neil Giffhorn, Gary Most, and James Yaekel Jr. The following administration was present: Superintendent Brian Charron; Principals: Lori Costello and Nicholas Schwartz.
The following guests were present: James Moss and Ed Wienhoff.
Motion was made by Ahne and seconded by Yaekel Jr. that an executive closed session be called at 6:05 p.m. to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity. PUBLIC HEARING: A Public Hearing was held at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of the FY2019-2020 Amended School District Budget discussion. Mr. Charron explained the impact of the amended budget on the operating funds. There were no public questions or comments. The hearing closed at 7:35 p.m.
Motion was made by Most and seconded by Yaekel Jr. to approve the minutes of the March 16, 2020 regular board meeting.
Further, to approve the executive session minutes of the March 16, 2020 regular board meeting.
Further, to authorize the Superintendent to advertise for bids for paper products for the 2020-2021 school year.
Further, to authorize the Director of Buildings and Grounds to advertise for bids for trash containers/pickup for the 2020-2021 school year.
Further, to authorize full payment of salaries on or before June 15, 2020 for all employees not returning to the District for the 2020-2021 school year.
Further, to accept a letter of resignation, dated March 13, 2020, from Karl Probst, cafeteria worker, effective March 13, 2020.
Further, to accept a letter of resignation, dated March 30, 2020, from Elizabeth Mifflin, speech language pathologist, effective at the end of the 2019-2020 school.
