Pinckneyville Community High School District 101 Board of Education met May 18.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Board of Education of Pinckneyville Community High School District #101, Perry County, Illinois, met in a regular session at 6:30 p.m. at the Pinckneyville Community High School in that district. The following officers and members of the Board were present: Greg Thompson, President, Brian Kellerman, Jeff Suchomski, Greg Bigham, Lisa Stanton, and Jennifer Robb. Kyle Pursell attended via telephone. Tony Wilson, Principal, attended via video conference call. Keith Hagene, Superintendent, was also present.

It was moved by Jeff Suchomski and seconded by Greg Bigham to approve the amended agenda as presented. Voice vote. All ayes. Motion carried.

It was moved by Lisa Stanton and seconded by Kyle Pursell to approve the consent agenda as presented. Roll call: Lisa Stanton, yes; Greg Thompson, yes; Greg Bigham, yes; Kyle Pursell, yes; Jennifer Robb, yes; Jeff Suchomski, yes; and Brian Kellerman, yes. All ayes. Motion carried.

No visitors were present.

Mr. Hagene conducted a second reading of policy updates.

It was moved by Kyle Pursell and seconded by Lisa Stanton to adopt the policy updates as presented. Voice vote. All ayes. Motion carried.

Mr. Hagene presented details of the transaction and resolutions resulting in a working cash transfer.

It was moved by Brian Kellerman and seconded by Lisa Stanton to adopt Resolution R-2020-2 as presented. Roll call: Lisa Stanton, yes; Greg Thompson, yes; Greg Bigham, yes; Kyle Pursell, yes; Jennifer Robb, yes; Jeff Suchomski, yes; and Brian Kellerman, yes. All ayes. Motion carried.

It was moved by Brian Kellerman and seconded by Lisa Stanton to adopt Resolution R-2020-3 as presented. Roll call: Lisa Stanton, yes; Greg Thompson, yes; Greg Bigham, yes; Kyle Pursell, yes; Jennifer Robb, yes; Jeff Suchomski, yes; and Brian Kellerman, yes. All ayes. Motion carried.

It was moved by Brian Kellerman and seconded by Lisa Stanton to adopt Resolution R-2020-4 as presented. Roll call: Lisa Stanton, yes; Greg Thompson, yes; Greg Bigham, yes; Kyle Pursell, yes; Jennifer Robb, yes; Jeff Suchomski, yes; and Brian Kellerman, yes. All ayes. Motion carried.

It was moved by Brian Kellerman and seconded by Lisa Stanton to adopt Resolution R-2020-5 as presented. Roll call: Lisa Stanton, yes; Greg Thompson, yes; Greg Bigham, yes; Kyle Pursell, yes; Jennifer Robb, yes; Jeff Suchomski, yes; and Brian Kellerman, yes. All ayes. Motion carried.

It was moved by Jeff Suchomski and seconded by Brian Kellerman to approve the Athletic Training Services Agreement between PCHS District #101 and the Orthopaedic Institute of Southern Illinois for the sum of $28,000 for the 2020-2021 school year. Roll call: Lisa Stanton, yes; Greg Thompson, yes; Greg Bigham, yes; Kyle Pursell, yes; Jennifer Robb, yes; Jeff Suchomski, yes; and Brian Kellerman, yes. All ayes. Motion carried.

The FY20 Amended Budget is available for public viewing in the District Office with the intent of adopting it at t the June meeting.

It was moved by Lisa Stanton and seconded by Kyle Pursell to employ Sara Waggoner as part- time summer custodial help for up to twenty hours per week at current minimum wage. Roll call: Lisa Stanton, yes; Greg Thompson, yes; Greg Bigham, yes; Kyle Pursell, yes; Jennifer Robb, yes; Jeff Suchomski, yes; and Brian Kellerman, yes. All ayes. Motion carried.

It was moved by Lisa Stanton and seconded by Kyle Pursell to employ Thomas Cagle as part- time summer custodial help for up to twenty hours per week at current minimum wage. Roll call: Lisa Stanton, yes; Greg Thompson, yes; Greg Bigham, yes; Kyle Pursell, yes; Jennifer Robb, yes; Jeff Suchomski, yes; and Brian Kellerman, yes. All ayes. Motion carried.

It was moved by Lisa Stanton and seconded by Kyle Pursell to employ Darian Harris as part- time summer custodial help for up to ten hours per week at current minimum wage. Roll call: Lisa Stanton, yes; Greg Thompson, yes; Greg Bigham, yes; Kyle Pursell, yes; Jennifer Robb, yes; Jeff Suchomski, yes; and Brian Kellerman, yes. All ayes. Motion carried.

It was moved by Jennifer Robb and seconded by Jeff Suchomski to set the re-scheduled tentative graduation date for Sunday, June 28th, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomas Gym. Voice vote. All ayes. Motion carried.

It was moved by Kyle Pursell and seconded by Lisa Stanton to adjourn the meeting at 6:58 p.m. Voice vote. All ayes. Motion carried.
