Chester Community Unit School District No. 139 Board of Education met June 18.

The Board of Education of Chester Community Unit School District No. 139 held a Hearing on the Amended Budget in the High School Cafeteria. President Hammel called the hearing to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present: Mitch Hammel, Trent Vasquez. Via phone: Dan Colvis, Lorin Mott, Tom Welge, Charles Fricke. Members absent: Debi Caraway
No public comment was presented to the Board.
Superintendent Pasero indicated a projected year end revenues to be $11,592,523 and expenditures to be $11,553,428. Mr. Pasero also commented that major adjustments had been made due to ongoing construction projects and bond receipts. He also indicated that the inclusion of the full intended state aide payments were necessary in order to get to a balance budget that the state would accept.
Motion was made by Mr. Welge and seconded by Mr. Vasquez to adjourn the meeting at 7:14 p.m. Upon roll call all members voted aye. 6 aye, 0 nay, 1 absent; motion carried.
