Q4 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Monroe County?

There were four offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2019 that live in Monroe County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SW Illinois News.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Monroe County were men. The median age of the parolees was 40. The youngest parolee was a 29-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2016, and the oldest was a 50-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2019.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Todd Clark. He was convicted of a property crime in 2016 when he was 26 years old. He is now 29.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter of 2019 in each Monroe County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
