City of Red Bud Zoning Committee met May 18.

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting April 20, 2020
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Friess, seconded by Committee Member Harbaugh, to approve the minutes from the April 20, 2020 meeting. Carried
II. Enterprise Zone Territory Map Update
Only Red Bud is interested in making changes to the map at this time and if the city goes ahead with the changes, there will be a $6,000 fee. Mayor Lowry is suggesting waiting until there is some interest in a planned project and then maybe another city/county would also be interested in making changes and the cost would be shared. Edie Koch is working on a press release to get the information out.
III. East Sewer Lagoon Annexation Recommendation made by Committee Member Guebert, seconded by Committee Member Harbaugh, to approve authorization of the Rhutasel & Associates Inc. agreement to prepare an annexation plat for the East Sewer Lagoon. Friess, nay; Guebert, aye; Esker, loss internet connection; DeMond, nay; Harbaugh, aye. Carried with a 2-2 vote. This will move to the council agenda.
IV. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City
There will not be a planning commission meeting on Tuesday, Mary 19, 2020.
