Red Bud home prices fall in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Red Bud fell by $3,000 while total sales remained unchanged with 18 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $125,000 - a 2.3% decrease over the $128,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 18 homes sold in Red Bud in the first half of 2017, as well.

The median sales tax in Red Bud for 2018 was $2,256. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,151. This marks an increase of 4.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
