Sparta home prices rise in July 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2019 in Sparta rose by $500 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $78,000 - a 0.6% increase over the $77,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Sparta in July 2018.

The median sales tax in Sparta for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,346, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for July 2019.
