Steeleville home prices rise in June 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2018 in Steeleville rose by $26,500 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2018, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $104,000 - a 34.2% increase over the $77,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Steeleville in June 2017.

The median sales tax in Steeleville for 2018 was $1,310. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,289. This marks an increase of 1.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
