City of Red Bud Parks and Recreation Committee met July 1.
Here is the agenda provided by the committee:
Members Present: Jim Birke, Will Krick, Deb Opal, Matt Mollet, Alan Piel, Tim Fahey Absent: Kevin Cartee, Terri Reed, and Winnie Rehmer
Others present , Recreational Committee members: Kyle Donjon, Susan Harbaugh
Lincoln Park: Two trees by the Tennis Courts need to be trimmed or removed. The playground equipment needs a little work done.
Ratz Park: A tree across from the pool is dead and needs to be removed and replaced this fall. The new metal tables currently in place have handicapped accessible ends and to not set level on the floor. These may need to be permanently attached to concrete.
Pool: The pool opened on June 29, 2020. Attendance has been low. The weather has not been conducive for swimming. The pool flag pole needs to be repainted.
Community Garden. All stations have been taken. A few more stations may need to be added next year.
A motion was mad to adjourn the meeting by Jim Birke and seconded by Matt Mollet. The motion carried. The next meeting is scheduled for August 5, 2020 at 6:30 at Lincoln Park.
