Village of Coulterville Village Board Met August 17

Village of Coulterville Village Board met Aug. 17.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Village Board of Coulterville was called to order in the Community Center for regular session at 7:00 pm.

Those present for the roll call were Board members: Dyson, Long, Knope, Wine, Campbell and Wright.

• Moved by Wright, second Wine by to approve agenda as presented. All Ayes.

• Moved by Wine, second by Knope to approve Minutes for August 3, 2020 regular meeting. All Ayes.

• Moved by Long, second by Kn ope to approve payment of invoices for August 17, 2020. All Ayes.

• Moved by Wright, second by Dyson to approve July 2020 Treasurer's Report. All Ayes.

REPORTS AND COMMUNICATIONS

• Financial report: Nothing to report.

• Cemetery report: Nothing to report.

• Sewer report: Nothing to report.

• Park report: Nothing to report.

• Trash/Recycle report: Nothing to report.

• Water report: Nothing to report

• Street report: Oiling & chipping was called off due to rain.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT/GUESTS

PUBLIC COMMENT

NEW BUSINESS:

• The DCEO grant that was awarded in 2013 and suspended in 2014 due to lack of State appropriations has been reinstated. The remaining funds of $18,607.89 are to be used for sidewalks. The board and Mayor will look at the village park to see where concrete is needed and where repairs are necessary. The park committee will submit a drawing with measurements and the remaining grant funds will used in the village park first.
