Village of Coulterville Village Board Met September 8

Village of Coulterville Village Board met Oct. 8.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Village Board of Coulterville was called to order in the Community Center for regular session at 7:00 pm.

Those present for the roll call were Board members: Dyson, Long, Knope, Wine, Campbell and Wright.

• Moved by Campbell, second by Knope to approve agenda as presented. All Ayes.

• Moved by Wright, second by Dyson to approve Minutes for August 17, 2020 regular meeting. All Ayes.

• Moved by Long, second by Knope to approve payment of invoices for September 8, 2020. All Ayes.

REPORTS AND COMMUNICATIONS

• Financial report: Nothing to report.

• Cemetery report: Nothing to report.

• Sewer report: Nothing to report.

• Park report: Knope worked and cleaned up the village park.

• Trash/Recycle report: Nothing to report.

• Water report: Nothing to report.

• Street report: Nothing to report.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT/GUESTS

PUBLIC COMMENT

NEW BUSINESS:

• Moved by Dyson, second by Wine to approve Resolution 20-908-1 authorizing Mayor Marlow to sign a forty-year agreement with the City of Sparta to purchase bulk water. The water costs in this agreement are a fixed rate for each of the first ten years after which the price per 1000 gallons will be re-evaluated. All Ayes.

• Moved by Knope, second by Dyson to approve Resolution 20-908-2 authorizing Mayor Marlow to sign an agreement which pays $2.00 per linear foot of installed pipeline in consideration of a utility easement. All Ayes.

• Moved by Wright, second by Campbell to approve Resolution 20-908-3 authorizing Mayor Marlow to sign an agreement which pays $2.00 per linear foot of installed pipeline and a steel tube gate in consideration of a utility easement. All Ayes.
