Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home - Evansville issued the following announcement on Jan. 15.

DOLORES' OBITUARY

DOLORES M. BRUPBACHER MAUE, 92, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 8:27 pm, Friday, January 22, 2021 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois.

 

She was born to the late Clifford and Selma (nee Heck) Groh on June 15, 1928 in Evansville, Illinois.

 

Dolores married Leonard Brupbacher on October 1, 1960 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on September 10, 1989. She then married Alphonse “Boots” Maue on February 14, 2003 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on January 1, 2007.

 

She had worked as a caregiver.

 

Dolores was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois. She was also a member of the Chester Women’s Club, Chester Eagles Auxiliary and the Chester V.F.W. Auxiliary.

 

Survivors:

   3 Children:

        Terry (Carol) Hartmann Red Bud, IL

        Alice Thomas Carson City, NV

        Cheri (Michael) Colvis Percy, IL

   7 Grandchildren:

        Dawn, Brian, Chris, Kathy, Maxine, Jessica and Halie

   13 Great Grandchildren

 

Preceded in Death by: Parents, 1st Husband – Norman Hartmann, 2nd Husband – Leonard Brupbacher, 3rd Husband – Alphonse “Boots” Maue and 1 Great Granddaughter - Hannah Porter

 

It was Dolores’ wish to be cremated. A Private Graveside Service will be held at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Chester with Pastor Timothy Sims officiating.

 

Memorial Contributions may be made in Dolores’ memory to Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home and are being accepted at Pechacek Funeral Homes in Chester.
