SEARBY FUNERAL HOMES-TAMAROA: Sally A. Barnowski

Searby Funeral Homes-Tamaroa recently issued the following announcement.

Sally A. Barnowski, 61, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 3:10 P.M., Thursday, June 10, 2021 at her residence.

Sally had been a charge master for eight years at Mercy Hospital. She had also worked for twenty-six years at St. Anthony Hospital. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at Todds Mill. She was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the 3rd Order of Professional Lay People. Sally had served communion to nursing home residents.

She was born October 15, 1959 at St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Sam and Josephine (DeGregorio) Signorino.

She married Joseph P. Barnowski on April 11, 1980 at Queen of All Saints Church in St. Louis, MO and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Pinckneyville, three sons - Joe “Joey” Barnowski and wife Danielle, Michael Barnowski and wife Kristin, and Tony Barnowski and fiancé Korie, all of St. Louis, five sisters - Paulette Kapes and husband Bill of St. Louis, Virginia McKee and husband Jeff of St. Louis, Vicki Keller and husband Dave of St. Louis, Kathy McLaughlin and husband Tim of Atlanta, GA, and Joanie Wyatt and husband Rich of St. Louis, one brother - John Signorino and wife Deb of Austin, TX, six grandchildren - Aidan Peck, Julien Peck, Brielle Barnowski, Jack Barnowski, Ava Barnowski, and Grace Barnowski.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother in infancy - John Signorino.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at Todds Mill with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu officiating.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M., Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M., Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial will be in the St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery at Todds Mill, IL.

Friends may make memorials to the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
