Chester Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Dr. Robert Platt moved to Chester in 1975 after completing his dental education at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago. He is now in his 41st year of practice, and as a general dentist, performs most dental procedures. He is now seeing his third generation of patients. Dr Platt's wife, Paula, retired after 30 years of teaching at Chester Grade School, most of which were at the second grade level. The couple's grown children are Mark, Kristin and Eric. They have three grandsons. "When we came to Chester, Paula and I were treated very warmly, as though we grew up here. I try my best to provide friendly, caring treatment to my dental family," Dr. Platt said.
