City of Red Bud Cultural Committee met May 17.

Committee Chairman DeMond called the meeting to order at 6:43 P.M.
Old Business
I. Food Trucks at Private Events at Parks – Code Changes
Attorney Ray explained the recommended changes to the food truck ordinance. Recommendation made by Committee Chairman DeMond, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to approve the food truck revisions, as submitted, and authorize Attorney Ray to draft an ordinance. Carried
New Business
I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting April 19, 2021 Recommendation made by Committee Chairman DeMond, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to approve the minutes from the April 19, 2021, meeting. Carried
II. Farmer’s Market – Overview
Chairman DeMond presented guidelines/application for a one time only Farmer’s Market to take place at city hall park. Issues on who would police the event, set up, take applications, etc., were discussed. If this becomes a repetitive event, an ordinance would be required.
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman DeMond, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to approve the Farmer’s Market for July 10, 2021, at Red Bud City Hall Park. Carried
III. Request from Randolph County Shriners to Collect at Four-Way on Friday, September 24, 2021
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman DeMond, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to approve the request from Randolph County Shriners to collect at the 4-way on September 24, 2021, 2:30-6:00 P.M. Carried
