BUDGET HEARING

ROLL CALL: Present –Doerflein, Phillips, Melton, Marlow, George 

Absent- Stein

Visitors –Kerri Schoenbacher, Cory Plumlee

MOTION: by George, second by Phillips to enter Open Forum for Proposed FY 2022 Budget.

Five in favor, none opposed.

MOTION: by Melton, second by Phillips to Adjourn to Regular Board Meeting. Five in favor, none opposed.

REGULAR BOARD MEETING

MOTION: by Melton, second by Phillips to approve Minutes of August Meeting (Open & Closed)

MOTION: by George second by Marlow to approve the Treasurer’s Report.

MOTION: by George second by Melton to approve payment of the Curriculum Director Salary for Erica Hicks to Pinckneyville Community High School in the amount of $5000.

MOTION: by George second by Marlow to approve 14 COVID-19 Days for staff to be used within the 2021-22 School Year.

MOTION: by Marlow, second by Phillips to waive tenured Teacher Evaluations.

ROLL CALL: Doerflein, yea; Phillips, yea; Melton, yea; Marlow, yea; George, yea.

MOTION: by George second by Melton to approve the Community Center Agreement to allow Tamaroa Grade School to rent the Tamaroa Community Center from the months of October 2021-March 2022 for the price of the facility’s utilities during which the agreement specifies. No written agreement was available to sign at the time of the meeting.

ROLL CALL: Doerflein, yea; Phillips, yea; Melton, yea; Marlow, yea; George, yea.

MOTION: by Marlow, second by George to permit the Tamaroa SD 5 Lab to Test students on Exposure Dates 1, 3, 5 and 7, pending parental consent, allowing which students to Test to Stay pursuant to 77 Ill. Admin. Code 690.361.

Five in favor, none opposed.

The next Board of Education Meeting is set for October 19th at 6:00pm, in the Tamaroa Grade School Office.

The Annual Fall Fest is set for October 8th, 2021 on the Tamaroa Grade School Lawn, all COVID-19 Guidelines as set forth by the Executive Order 2021-18 will be followed.
