I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting August 16, 2021
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman DeMond, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to approve the minutes from the August 16, 2021, meeting. Carried
II. Muskets Homecoming Requests
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman DeMond, seconded by Committee Member Guebert, to authorize approval of the Red Bud Muskets’ Homecoming activities, as requested on October 7, 9 &10, 2021. Carried
III. Request from RBHS NHS to Sell Krispy Kreme Donuts 7:00-11:00 A.M. on September 25, 2021
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman DeMond, seconded by Committee Member Schwartzkopf, to authorize approval of the request from RBHS National Honor Society to sell Krispy Kreme donuts at the four-way on September 25, 2021, backup date of October 30, 2021, 7:00-11:00 A.M. Carried
IV. Authorization for Chamber to Host Lamp Post Decorating Contest for Autumn
Poetker said the winner will be announced at the “Witches Night Out” event on October 23, 2021.
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman DeMond, seconded by Committee Member Schwartzkopf, to authorize approval of the request from Red Bud Chamber of Commerce to sponsor an autumn lamp post decorating contest, October 1-6, 2021. Carried
V. Request from Parlor on Market to use City Street for Boutique Crawl on October 2, 2021
Kayla, from Parlor on Market, is using this as a backup plan for using the rear of her lot, if the landlord does not get it cleaned up, or she cannot use space on Susie’s Restaurant parking lot, for a kettle corn vendor. She will get the ok from the downtown restaurants to have the vendor.
Recommendation made by Committee Chairman DeMond, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to authorize approval of the request from the Parlor on Market to use the Bloom St. parking lane along the side city hall/police department, as a backup plan, for the kettle corn vendor, for the Boutique Crawl on October 2, 2021. Carried
