Report: Duquoin School District spent $10,292 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Duquoin Community Unit School District 300 was up 0.8 percent from five years ago, according to the SW Illinois News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Perry County school district spent $10,206 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,292 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 1,487 to 1,489 students over the same period.

Duquoin's spending in 2019-20 was 29 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
