Report: Pinckneyville School District spent $10,531 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Pinckneyville Community High School District 101 was up 3.5 percent from five years ago, according to the SW Illinois News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Perry County school district spent $10,175 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,531 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 456 to 448 students over the same period.

Pinckneyville's spending in 2019-20 was 27.3 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
