How did home prices perform in Sparta during the second half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Sparta rose by $18,750 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $70,500 - a 36.2% increase over the $51,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in Sparta in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Sparta for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,332, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
