On Oct. 29, Zachery R. Allard||Ava N. Corbin purchased a home at 306 W. Second St., Sparta from David and Candace Sternberg for $88,500.

The amount paid for property taxes on this property in 2020 was $1,306.36, 1.48% of the sale price of the home.

So far in October 2021, six properties sold in Sparta.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, Candace Renee Sternberg has been registered to vote since 2005 and has voted in at least five primary elections, records show, including five Democratic Primaries. David E. Sternberg has been registered to vote since 1996 and has voted in at least nine primary elections, records show, including nine Democratic Primaries.

There were no other registered voters living at the residence as of Oct. 10, 2020.
