Pinckneyville City Council met Feb. 8.

ROLL CALL
Mayor Robert L. Spencer called the special meeting of the Pinckneyville City Council to order at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall. Members present: Commissioners Ricky J. Cicardi, Kevin B. Hicks, Sammy D. Peradotta, William B. Stotlar, and Mayor Robert L. Spencer. City Attorney Don Bigham requested to add an Executive Session for the discussion of: Section 2 (c) (1) Appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of an employee and Section 2 (c) (6) Setting of a price for the sale or lease of property owned by the public body. Mayor Spencer declared a quorum present. Mayor Spencer announced the agenda was set. Administrative staff present: City Clerk Melissa S. Kellerman and City Attorney Don Bigham.
ADJOURNMENT TO EXECUTIVE SESSION
Motion by Commissioner Peradotta, seconded by Commissioner Hicks to move the meeting to Executive Session at 9:01 a.m. for the discussion of: Section 2 (c) (1) Appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of an employee and Section 2 (c) (6) Setting of a price for the sale or lease of property owned by the public body. On roll call: Commissioners Cicardi, Hicks, Peradotta, Stotlar, and Mayor Spencer voted YEA. NAYS: None. Motion declared carried.
RETURN TO REGULAR MEETING
Motion by Commissioner Peradotta, seconded by Commissioner Cicardi to return to the regular meeting at 9:56 a.m. On roll call: Commissioners Cicardi, Hicks, Peradotta, Stotlar and Mayor Spencer voted YEA. NAYS: None. Motion declared carried.
NOTICE OF BID FOR OPERATOR – UTILITY MAINTENANCE/WATER AND SEWER TREATMENT PLANT
Commissioner Cicardi requested approval to issue two Notices of Bid for Operator – Utility Maintenance/Water & Sewer Treatment Plant. He stated this is for two separate positions. Commissioner Cicardi made a motion to issue two Notices of Bid for Operator – Utility Maintenance/Water & Sewer Treatment Plant. Commissioner Peradotta seconded the motion. On roll call: Commissioners Cicardi, Hicks, Peradotta, Stotlar, and Mayor Spencer voted YEA. NAYS: None. Motion declared carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Commissioner Hicks, seconded by Commissioner Stotlar to adjourn the meeting at 9:58 a.m. On roll call: Commissioners Cicardi, Hicks, Peradotta, Stotlar and Mayor Spencer voted YEA. NAYS: None. Motion declared carried.
