City of Red Bud Personnel Committee met Jan. 17.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
Committee Members Present: Alan Piel, Curt Guebert, Jeremy DeMond (Remote)
Committee Members Absent: Mike Rheinecker, Kyle Donjon
Council Members Present: Bill Hanebutt, Rodney Nevois, Ben Schwartzkopf
Others Present: Acting Mayor Susan Harbaugh, City Attorney Paul Ray, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Administrator Jeff Mueller, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker, City Clerk Joanne Cowell
Others Absent: Police Chief John Brittingham
In the absence of Committee Chairman Rheinecker, Acting Mayor Harbaugh called the meeting to order at 6:16 P.M. Having no quorum, Committee Member DeMond could not officially be allowed remote attendance in the meeting, therefore only discussion was allowed.
Old Business
I. Assistant Position
Poetker had posted the job opening on the website Indeed.com about a week ago but has had no response.
New Business
I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – December 20, 2021 Will be addressed next month.
II. Elected Officials Salaries
The elected official’s salary schedule is due to be reviewed in January every four years. Consensus was that there is no need to change the schedule. It will be put on the agenda for January 2026.
III. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City
None
