What’s in your medicine cabinet? If you’re like most Americans, it’s a mix of first-aid products, pain relievers, vitamins and bunch of expired products you haven’t used in a while.
Walgreens recently surveyed 2,000 people across the U.S. to understand what products people buy, why they buy them, how often they use them, and the role Walgreens brand products play in saving money while stocking one’s medicine cabinet. The results included some interesting insights.
1. 74% of respondents often forget to replace expired products in their medicine cabinet
2. 67% change out their medicine cabinet seasonally
3. 58% say they've become more proactive about their health during the pandemic
4. 60% of respondents say they have six or more expired products in their medicine cabinet
5. 57% say ingredients are the most important factor when choosing products for their medicine cabinet
