Columbia trash customers should have tree limbs out for removal by: 6:00 a.m. on Monday, October 3rd and October 10th.
This service is for garbage customers only.
The City will have the entire week to remove the tree limbs from your residence. Because the entire City will have tree limbs out for removal by 6:00 a.m. on Monday, October 3rd and October 10th, one trip can be made throughout the City, therefore eliminating the need to backtrack to certain areas.
Instructions:
Tree limbs must be eight inches or less in diameter.
No whole trees, roots, grass clippings, honeysuckle or yard waste will be accepted.
Tree limb removal is NOT intended FOR WHOLE TREE REMOVAL or TREE TOPPING; it is only intended for tree trimming and pruning.
Please place tree limbs in front of your residence close to the curb (not in the street, sidewalk or alleys).
Do not park vehicles in front of the tree limbs.
