City of Red Bud Public Health and Safety Committee met Sept. 19.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present: Rodney Nevois, Curt Guebert, Kyle Donjon, Bill Hanebutt, Mike Rheinecker

Committee Members Absent:

Council Members Present: Ben Schwartzkopf, Jeremy DeMond, Alan Piel

Others Present: Acting Mayor Susan Harbaugh, Police Chief John Brittingham, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker, Code Administrator Jeff Mueller, City Attorney Paul Ray, City Superintendent Josh Eckart

Others Absent: City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Committee Chairman Hanebutt called the meeting to order at 6:11 P.M.

New Business

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – August 15, 2022

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Hanebutt, seconded by Committee Member Nevois to approve the minutes from the August 15, 2022, meeting. Motion Carried.

II. Departmental Activity Report

The monthly department activity report was included in the packets.

III. Training Request – Tyler Clelland

Recommendation made by Committee Member Hanebutt, seconded by Committee Member Donjon to send Tyler Clelland to the 8 Hour Sexual Assault Trauma Informed Response for Investigators Training to be held on November 29, 2022 at the Highland Police Dept. Motion carried.

IV. Quote from Midwest Public Safety for Squad Car Computers

Recommendation made by Committee Member Hanebutt, seconded by Committee Member Donjon to approve the quote from Midwest Public Safety for in car computers NTE $4,541.38. Motion carried.

V. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

None

Meeting was adjourned at 6:13 P.M.
