City of Red Bud Zoning Committee met Nov. 21.

Others Present: Acting Mayor Susan Harbaugh, Police Chief John Brittingham, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker, City Attorney Paul Ray, City Superintendent Josh Eckart
Others Absent: City Clerk Joanne Cowell, Code Administrator Jeff Mueller
Committee Chairman Piel called the meeting to order at 6:27 P.M.
Old Business
1. Comprehensive Plan
Slated to recommend a consultant for plan in February, 2023
2. East Industrial Park Expansion Project
Ongoing- Nothing new to report
3. Dollar General Update
Mark Guebert is working to get crops in the ground.
City Attorney provided an update – we have the documents we need for the easement – item will be added to the December city council agenda.
No progress has been made on the land donation.
Superintendent mentioned that there is a water line that comes through on the park side. If the documents are ever finalized that will need to be included.
New Business
1. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting October 17, 2022 Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Piel, seconded by Committee Member Nevois, to approve the minutes from the October 17, 2022, meeting. Motion carried.
2. City Hall Study Recommendation for Replacement of Gutters
Rodney Nevois mentioned that he, Superintendent Eckart, and Mike Schneider have been in contact regarding ways to repair the gutter problem on the building.
Mayor Harbaugh, Jeff, Pam, and Josh are scheduled to review the document and start the budgeting process for the repairs.
3. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City
Hearing was held on the liquor store in town. The Planning Commission recommended not to approve it. Nothing on the agenda tonight. Matter will be on the December council agenda.
