City of Red Bud Zoning Committee met Dec. 19.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present: Alan Piel, Curt Guebert, Ben Schwartzkopf, Jeremy DeMond, Rodney Nevois

Committee Members Absent:

Council Members Present: Kyle Donjon, Bill Hanebutt, Mike Rheinecker

Council Members Absent:

Others Present: Acting Mayor Susan Harbaugh, Police Chief John Brittingham, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker, City Attorney Paul Ray, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Administrator Jeff Mueller

Others Absent: City Clerk Joanne Cowell,

Committee Chairman Piel called the meeting to order at 6:54 P.M.

Old Business

1. Comprehensive Plan

Slated to recommend a consultant for plan in February, 2023

2. East Industrial Park Expansion Project

Ongoing - Nothing new to report

3. Dollar General Update

Requirements for transferring property to the City of Red Bud were not met in time for the transaction to happen prior to the end of 2022.

New Business

1. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting November 21, 2022

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Piel, seconded by Committee Member Nevois, to approve the minutes from the November 21, 2022, meeting. Motion carried.

2. Budget Number for South Gutters

Motion made by Piel, seconded by Guebert to approve the quote from Nevois Construction for the south gutter project NTE $20,000. Nevois abstain. Motion carried.

3. Liquor License Survey

Planning Commission requested that the City review the current liquor license policy and consider the number of licenses available. The city will continue to discuss and consider changes. Matter will remain on the agenda.

4. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

Nothing

Meeting was adjourned at 7:01 P.M
