Monroe County Board of County Commissioners met March 6.

The meeting of the County Commissioners of Monroe County, Illinois was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Dennis M. Knobloch.
The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Chairman Dennis M. Knobloch and Commissioner George Green were present. Commissioner Vicki Koerber joined the meeting by phone.
Others present included Deputy County Clerk Mia VanZandt and Ambulance Director Carla Heise. There were no public comments.
Carla Heise was present to discuss the contract from Stryker for the maintenance of equipment used by the Monroe County Ambulance Service.
Commissioner Green made a motion to approve the completion of the agreement with Stryker for equipment and maintenance of equipment, with the small clarification that we first see when payment starts. Second by Commissioner Koerber. All voting Aye. None Nay. None Absent. Motion carried.
**Edit – At 9:14 a.m., eight minutes after the meeting ended, Chairman Knobloch informed the Board that we will not receive any additional credit for any unused equipment returned, and payment will begin 30 days after the last piece of new equipment is delivered.
There being no further business, Commissioner Green made a motion to adjourn. Second by Commissioner Koerber. All voting Aye. None Nay. None Absent. Motion carried.
