Saturday, April 1 • 2-5pm
Expose myths, break stereotypes, and unban yourself this April Fools Day. Y’all Rock at the Carbondale Public Library for a zine making event exploring and exposing label myths and realities. Many people who became history makers/ world changers were once labeled as fools, crazy people or even had their works banned or they themselves were banned from countries, etc. We will make zines to discuss how labeling each other can be a form of bullying and explore history to talk about the stereotyping and the problematic norms that can prevent us from being open to new ideas or hinder us from thinking outside the box.
