Q4 2021 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Randolph County?

There were 10 offenders living in Randolph County released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2021, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SW Illinois News.

The data shows eight men and two women were released in Randolph County. The median age of the parolees was 44. The youngest parolee was a 25-year-old woman sentenced for a crime against a person in 2020, and the oldest was a 61-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2021.

The offender incarcerated the longest was Derril L. Heath. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2016 when he was 46 years old. He is now 54.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter of 2021 in each Randolph County.
